Irrigation Design - Residential
Irrigation design for residential projects will ensure the design functions when installed. The design can be used to solicit bids from a contractor or for a homeowner to complete some or all of the installation of the system.
We perform irrigation design using a Computer Aided Design (CAD). To complete and irrigation design we need the following:
- Landscape plan of the property
- To scale, including elevations
- Provided electronically as .pdf or CAD
- Wes-Tech can scan a layout that is 11” x 17” or smaller.
- Water Source Information
- Location
- Size
- Pressure
- Flow
- Location for irrigation controller
- Customer irrigation preferences
- Drip vs sprays
- Smart controller
Irrigation Design - Commercial
Commercial irrigation designs are based on an approved landscape plan. An irrigation design is required at the building permit application stage in most municipalities. The design can also be used in tender documents to ensure prospective contractors are bidding on the approved (same) irrigation design. We are familiar with the municipal requirements and irrigation bylaws of the local municipalities and will accommodate those requirements in your design. We can access specialized resources available from contractors and irrigation manufacturers to meet your project's specific needs.
