Medium ponds can take a mixture of medium growing plants that can create a design that looks well balanced without blocking the view. Larger ponds have endless possibilities when it comes to plants especially if your large pond has a stream. Some plants like Lavender Monkey Flower and Forget-Me-Nots that thrive in moving water.

Temperature Regulation: Having a water feature can help regulate temperatures during the hot summer months. They can create a cooling atmosphere effect through evaporation for your yard and surrounding areas.
